Hey everyone. I have not posted in a while. Here are some half assed demos I threw together in the last week. Decided to make it spaced themed (don’t ask why). These demos were just my way of trying out some new sounds and instruments that I will put into full effect soon. I’m also starting a duo project with KoolSkull and I’m looking to start another project if anyone knows an awesome drummer that lives in LA.
THIS ALBUM SUCKS! no art to speak of
If you had trouble downloading EM002 you can go to Wr6t.bandcamp.com to pick up the album for free.
This is Experimental Muse’s second release. Prior to this it was just me blogging random things I thought were cool. Now I’m posting music I think is cool!
This is my first release under the moniker Wr6t. Previously I recorded under the name Droid Song but I changed my musical style a ton and thought it would be fitting to adjust my name as well.
On a whole though, this album is anything but cohesive. Mainly this is a compilation of demos I recorded ranging from noise, idm, minimalistic ambient, chiptune, trance, black forest ambient (new genre?) and pretty much everything else. I hope dead quiet finds you well.
Also, in the future, look forward to hearing a split of Wr6t and my good friend Nick Newland (Sukie).
Feel free to email me at Jack.firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to collaborate, or work on a split with me. Email email@example.com if you you want to get involved in Nascent Error Generation. NEG’s second album will be coming out shortly so get ready!
Special thanks to Nick DAndrea (russolo) who did an awesome job with the cover. This my second album that he has done the art for. Absolutely love his aesthetic.
(I think you might have to download the songs individually. I don’t know how to generate the typical mediafire link so if any one can help me out I’ll make it so you can download the album in bulk and not piece mail)

Evan Doornink, Brian Tuley, and myself just recorded a live jam session that combined noise, free jazz, sludge and doom into one four track EP. We set up mics, amps, basses, flutes, saxophones, circuit bent keyboards, and various percussive instruments in Brian’s house and had an explosion of sound and expression. The album’s title is The Disasterous Uncontroller and Math Calamity.
This is Experimental Muse’s first album release! Look forward to more noise, ambient, and experimental tracks coming your way.

The production behind video games has recently been intriguing me. Games are fun, some are incredible, but they all seem to fall short of the potential of the genre. Video games truly represent a chimera and blend of all types of media. They are interactive and contain music that defines the environment of game play, characters that evoke emotions, storyline and worlds that need exploring. All of these elements come together under a cohesive art style that adds even more depth to the medium.
It seems that most games focus on one of these elements and then rush through the other ones. Something is always being sacraficed.
I think that any one who wants to should start and go through the early steps of game design. Obviously just over email it would be hard to fully program an amazing and powerful game but we could create characters and a storyline and concept artand pitch the idea somewhere.
I want to hash this idea out more fully but if you are at all interested email me. (firstname.lastname@example.org).
King of circuit bending. Pete does incredible things for the DIY community. He exemplifies pushing normality and conformity to its boundaries and stepping outside of the box to create music. This video was made by Two Player Productions. They are experimental to a degree. If you are involved or familiar with the 8bit culture at all you most likely know that they just make videos of the juggernauts in 8bit society. I do think that Pete Edwards is incredible though for developing an art out of a hobby and showing the intricacies of circuit bending, instrument creation and innovative music.
Sci-fi gets a bad wrap for being low brow and base but I find that completely untrue. So many principles and and ideas are explored. The Metamorphosis can even be argued that it is partially sci-fi. The main character is a bug(maybe that makes in fantasy not sci-fi). Enough said though. That story is one of the most important, succinct, and speculative stories. Absolutely incredible. Also, give sci-fi a chance an actually give the problems presented some thought. Granted a lot of it is shit but still there are gems.
I’m based in Los Angeles and I’m looking to begin getting a community of artists, musician and gamers started. There are so many niches and cliques that it is impossible to just know everyone who has similar interests to your own. I’m going to attempt to close that gap and get people with underground, experimental and offbeat interests to be involved. Feel free to email me (email@example.com) if you live in L.A. and are taking part in any strange or creative forums of expression. Even if you don’t live in L.A. email me. It is incredibly important to have contacts all over who are also striving for the same goal.
Destroying and altering childhood icons and resurrecting the vestige of their character as these monsters. Really great art with its hint of pixel art thrown in.
